New Colors For Fall In Perri’s Leather Padded Halters,

With Matching Dog & Rider Accessories

Personal style and creativity rule at Perri’s Leather, where two new on-trend colors have just been added to the luxurious line of padded leather gear for your horse, yourself, and your dog.

The American-made leather halters and leads that Perri’s is known for can highlight both your horse’s personality and appearance with brand-new Pumpkin or Barn Red padded lambskin trim; they drew ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ when launched at a recent equine industry tradeshow.

“We’d originally planned the new colors as great seasonal additions for the Fall, but they were so popular we’re adding them as permanent colors to the line,” reports Carla Perri, owner and ‘chief of everything’ according to the Perri’s website. “These colors just pop, and they look good on every horse we’ve tried them on.”

The Padded Leather Collection at Perri’s offers nine different items and thirteen additional color combinations, to provide a semi-custom look that’s surprisingly affordable considering the quality.

The Pumpkin and Barn Red padded halter and accessory color combinations feature:

-          Pumpkin items with Havana brown leather and solid brass metal fittings; engraved nameplates are brass.

-          Barn Red items with Black leather and stainless steel fittings; engraved nameplates are stainless.

Halters have a double-stitched 1” premium vegetable-tanned leather, with whisper-soft lambskin providing a soft cushion next to your horse’s coat. A double-buckle crown strap, adjustable chin strap, and rolled throat with a convenient throat snap are details that make each halter both safe and secure for daily use. Halters are available in Cob, Horse, and Oversize; matching six foot leather leads have a 30 inch chain with snap.

Riders can choose to color-coordinate by wearing one of the popular padded leather wristbands, bracelets, or belts, or by selecting a new collar and leash for their favorite canine companion. ‘Key fob’ keychains are also available, with and without snaps to secure them to belt loops or to a hook on the tackroom wall. Engraved nameplates can be ordered for most items, and both wristbands and keychains are available either with or without coordinating metal snaffle bits.

Handcrafted by Pennsylvania Amish families, their multi-step halter-making process has been adapted to the full line of padded gear. Careful attention to detail means beveled edges and a hand-oiled finish are part of every piece, with creamy-soft lambskin providing a plush cushion next to the wearer’s skin.
